NRF 2012 gathered leaders from various sectors ranging from oil & gas, maritime, shipping, industry and defense, in addition to leading experts from Norway and Brazil as well as representatives from NGOs and students for various Norwegian universities. With compelling presentations and intriguing panel-debates, participants engaged in interactive panel discussions examining a range of issues including business development, political risk analysis and corporate social responsibility.
Brazil is currently perhaps the single most important growth market for Norwegian industry with great opportunities in a range of sectors such as oil & gas, maritime, industry, defense and energy. NRF 2012 welcomed the business community, diplomats, organizational actors and political experts from Norway and Brazil.
NRF 2012 addressed a number of relevant topics, which companies and investors considering the Brazilian market need to be aware of. With a population of nearly 200 million, vast oil resources, great diversity and a booming industry and consumer markets, Brazil emerges as a highly interesting market. NRF 2012 provided a crucial meeting venue for those who sought to connect with relevant contacts and prepare their entry into the Brazilian market. Those who already have a presence in Brazil got updated and on relevant and pressing issues and could further develop their network with relevant contacts in Norway focusing on Brazil.
The Norwegian Risk Forum Dinner at Grand Café, allowed for longer conversations and a social gathering, which provided an excellent opportunity for all the participants to join in an exclusive and intimate setting. Indeed, Norwegian Risk Forum is now established as the leading international conference focusing on political risk for Norwegian businesses and investors seeking to invest in emerging markets worldwide.
