Norwegian Risk Forum 2020 focused on a "Navigating Business through Global Pandemics, Energy Shocks and Geopolitical Inflection." We welcome speakers from around and experienced a very high level global geopolitical conference. With vibrant and engaging panel debates - we examined geopolitical dynamics, trends and processes around the world. Due to the Coronavirus / Covid-19 pandemic NRCI hosted Norwegian Risk Forum 2020 via Cisco Webex - a secure video conference platform.

Norwegian Risk Forum constitutes NRCI’s annual international conference in Oslo since 2010. This is the only conference in Norway examining geopolitical risks and international business opportunities. Exclusive and intimate high-quality event where decision makers and business leaders experience focused and informative presentations and engaging panel debates. Norwegian Risk Forum held entirely in English fosters a deeper understanding among leaders from industry, finance, academia and diplomacy for how geopolitical risks impact international business opportunities around the world. The meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule, which states that participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor of any other participant may be revealed. Participants share reflections, gather insights and obtain analysis useful to develop existing or new business strategies.

NRCI´s founder Arne Elias Corneliussen is the program chair for Norwegian Risk Forum. He selects annual conference themes based on emerging business and infrastructure trends driving economic growth, new industry or business sector reforms enabling international investments or sanctions-relief fostering trade and economic integration across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. NRCI monitors international economic drivers and trends and geopolitical dynamics impacting and changing risk equations in countries, regions and globally. These observations form how he defines Norwegian Risk Forum themes every year.

”NRCI´s annual geopolitical Norwegian Risk Forum brings together analyses of the highest quality focusing on the political, economic and social prospects of regions around the world. It is unique in representing a remarkable mix of expertise, from the worlds of business, policy, and academia, to produce the kind of knowledge required by investors as well as politicians.”
